The following introduces the selection of chemical process pumps.
There are more and more application scenarios for chemical process pumps, and there are more and more chemical process pump products. Many friends do not know how to choose from so many chemical process pump products. Here are some ways to select chemical process pumps:
1. Make the form and function of the selected pump meet the requirements of process indicators such as installation flow, pump head, working pressure, ambient temperature, cavitation margin, suction head, etc.
2. The requirements of medium characteristics must be met:
for pumps that transport flammable, explosive, harmful or precious media, the pump seal must be reliable or a non-exposed pump must be used, such as a magnetic pump (without a pump seal, and a discrete magnetic direct drive); for pumps that transport corrosive media, the convection components must be made of corrosion-resistant materials, such as fluoroplastic anti-corrosion pumps; for pumps that transport media containing solid particles, the convection components must be made of wear-resistant materials, and the pump seal must be flushed with clean liquid when necessary.

3. The equipment level requires strong reliability, low noise and low vibration.
4. Accurately calculate the purchase price of the pump.
5. When transporting highly corrosive substances (such as "sulfuric acid, concentrated sulfuric acid"), when transporting flammable and explosive materials, and when the application conditions cannot have any purification treatment: you can choose a magnetic drive pump, such as "CQB series magnetic drive pump, IMD series magnetic drive pump. If self-priming is required, you can choose FZB fluoroplastic self-priming pump.
6. 1HF centrifugal water pump and FSB centrifugal pump have the characteristics of high speed, small size, light weight, high efficiency, large flow, simple layout, no pulse when dripping, stable performance, easy control and convenient maintenance. If there are no special requirements for the application working conditions, it is better to choose a centrifugal water pump.
7. When transporting chemical media pumps containing solid particles, it is required that the heat convection components adopt wear-resistant materials: UHB mortar pump is a special tool. The material of UHB corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant mortar pump is high-toughness new engineering plastic UHBWPE, which is a modified material of ultra-high molecular weight (more than 5 million yuan) high-pressure polyethylene. In plastic, it has good wear resistance. Experimental comparison shows that its wear resistance is far better than stainless steel, and it has strong impact resistance, creep resistance and good corrosion resistance (equivalent to F4), and has special properties such as adhesion.
8. When the liquid level of the material is below the position of the pump equipment: it is advisable to use FZB fluoroplastic self-priming pump. If you also need to satisfy the characteristics of magnetic drive pump, you can use ZMD polyphenylene sulfide self-priming magnetic drive pump.
9. Select the model specification according to the performance trend chart of the pump: when the application requirements cannot find the appropriate specifications in the performance parameters, you can refer to the performance trend chart of the pump to select the appropriate pump type.
