of chemical process pumps. The sealing forms of chemical process pumps mainly include: skeleton seals, gasket seals, thread seals, labyrinth seals, rotary seals, dynamic seals and mechanical seals.
1. Oil seals It is a self-tightening mouth-shaped seal with compact structure, small size, low cost, convenient maintenance, and low torque resistance. It can prevent material leakage and external smoke and other harmful substances from invading. It has a certain level of compensation for damage, but it is not resistant to high pressure and is generally used in chemical process pumps in low voltage situations.
2. Gasket seals Gaskets are the basic components of centrifugal water pump packing seals and are widely used. The selection of sealing gaskets is mainly determined by factors such as the chemical process pump transport material, ambient temperature, and pressure corrosion.

3. There are generally two ways to seal chemical process pumps with threads, one is flange connection gasket sealing, and the other is thread filling sealing. Both methods are suitable for closed places with small-diameter flange connections. The hydraulic seal of the thread electric diaphragm pump gasket sealing is a gasket, and the thread only plays the role of giving tightening force.
4. Labyrinth seal has good effect under the conditions of reasonable planning, high-quality production and processing, intact installation and high speed. However, in practical applications, the leakage of chemical process pumps caused by it is relatively large, so it is not commonly used in the sealing of chemical process pumps.
5. Rotary seal sends the filling material with high expansion and tension into the ferrule joint, and relies on the axial pressure of the screw cap to convert it into radial sealing force, so it has a sealing effect. This sealing method is called rotary seal, and this type of filling material is called sealing filler. Rotary seals are widely used in the design of chemical process pumps because of their compact structure, convenient replacement, high quality and low price, and wide adaptability to speed and pressure materials.
6. Dynamic sealing During the operation of the chemical process pump, the pulling force generated by the auxiliary centrifugal impeller balances the high-pressure liquid at the inlet and outlet of the main centrifugal impeller to achieve sealing. After parking, the auxiliary centrifugal impeller is not started, and the parking seal structure is modified to alleviate the leakage of the chemical process pump that may occur after parking. The auxiliary centrifugal impeller seal has a simple structure, reliable sealing, and is durable. It can achieve tightness when the chemical process pump is running, and is mainly used in chemical process pumps that transport impurities.
7. Mechanical seal The chemical process pump field generally adopts mechanical seal sealing. Due to its small leakage and long service life, mechanical seal is currently an important way to seal the pump of this type of equipment. Mechanical seal is also called end seal. The definition in the technical standard is as follows: "It consists of at least one pair of vertical-a kind of device that, under the action of fluid pressure, compensation mechanism elasticity (or magnetism) and auxiliary sealing, makes the port directly touch the axis of rotation and slide relative to each other to prevent liquid leakage.
